Pubs and Restaurants

We are spoilt for choice for dining options in this area but I always hesitate to recommend anywhere to guests as a meal out experience is very subjective and one man's meat is another man's poison!  However I do tell our guests which places we have enjoyed lately (and things change with management and chef changes, or even a bad night for a waiter so recommendations are always given together with 'no guarantee'  caution.  Our local pub offers 10% discount to our guests on food.  You just have to tell them that you are staying with us when you book or before you get your bill. There are many restaurants in Chipping Campden, Shipston on Stour and Stratford on Avon, as well as further afield that offer menus from every corner of the globe so if you ask me, e.g. where you can get a good curry, I tell you where I think you would!

We are fortunate in that within a radius of about 15 miles there is a mass of award- winning pubs, including our own Howard Arms in Ilmington and The Ebrington Arms over the hill.  There are a multitude of awards which have been given to Cotswold pubs and restaurants ranging from national to regional and or those for whom puddings are major feature, look no further than The Pudding Club at Mickleton, a few miles away.
