Travelling to Ilmington

We are fortunate to be under 2 hours driving distance from four airports -

London Heathrow - 1hr 30 mins (although more if you run into rush hour)

Birmingham - 45 minutes

Nottingham East Midlands - 1 hour 15 minutes

Bristol - 1 hour 50 minutes

Slightly further are:

London Luton airport - 2 hours

London Stansted - 2 hours 30 minutes

London Gatwick - 2 hours 30 minutes

The local railway stations (both about 8 miles away) are Stratford upon Avon and Moreton in Marsh. You can book here. Banbury is a little further.  There is a bus service, no. 51 operated by Pulhams Coaches which runs between Moreton in Marsh and Stratford, four times a day, both ways.  This passes through Ilmington.

Detailed directions will be given on booking.  Ilmington is situated between Shipston on Stour and Chipping Campden, 71/2 miles south of Stratford upon Avon and 45 mins drive from Oxford and Cheltenham.  The parking for the cottage is 'off-street'. You can see the route from Shipston here.  Be careful when you come to cross the Fosse Way, A429 (stop sign about a mile out of Shipston - give way!) as this is a very fast road.
