Shiny new things...

First it was the shower - long overdue and everyone seems very pleased with our new one for 2016.  Then it was the tumble drier and now a new fridge.

The fridge freezer in the cottage, although functioning perfectly is now 10 years old and I am nervous that a 10 year old electrical item might suddenly let us down.  I totally fell in love with a blue retro one which exactly matches the blue of the dresser and here it is installed and running for the first time today! We have put the old fridge in the garage so that those who are there for longer stays have extra freezer or fridge space out there but with our lovely new shop in the village it is less important now to have masses of cool storage space.
