....and into Spring again - flowers and animals

The daffodils are only just coming out (a bit later this year?) but the mini-daffodils are pushing out and the cottage garden has a number of spring flowers appearing.  Unfortunately the naughty squirrel dug up most of the crocus bulbs and I fear he got the grape hyacinths too...

The sheep in the field by the fish ponds next door to Sansome House mistakenly thought I was coming to feed them.....

They looked distinctly huffy when food wasn't forthcoming....

Meanwhile, back in our garden is the very handsome and well-fed looking pheasant who has survived the winter shoots at Foxcote and is raucously calling for attention
